MEDICS
We are looking for amazing medics who want to be a part of this industry and part of our team. If you are an established medic or someone new to this we are here to help you. If you are accepted onto our database you will have a need to have your qualifications checked and you will be given the opportunity to upload a CV. Production companies from TV and Film will access you through our portal and contact you directly with work opportunities. Financially for you, this means you keep your full day’s wages, we take no cut.
You will have an online diary that you will need to update so production know when you are free and there will be short term contracts and long term contracts available, so if you are still working Frontline you can work your rest days with us. You will have access to a medics comprehensive “Guide to the Stars” which is a comprehensive guide that covers everything from minimum kit requirements to set etiquette all extremely important stuff.
WHAT DOES IT COST YOU?
A one-off joining fee of £50.00 for Medics. This cost covers your qualification checks and your “Guide to the Stars”. Call Medics also acts as an agent for when productions get in touch and can recommend medics on individual strengths, qualifications and current film experience.
MONTHLY FEE?
The monthly subscription from then on is only £40.00 per month. You will then have access to an online diary so productions know when you are available and you will then invoice the production directly so no hidden costs.
SHORT NOTICE
We are available 07.00 am – 20.00 pm daily and can be there if you are let down and need a medic quickly.
COSTS AND PAPERWORK?
No hidden costs, all medics will invoice the productions directly so there is no extra costs or extra paperwork for you to fill out.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE?
No problem, just let us know and we can cancel your subscription at the beginning of the next subscription month. (Direct Debits will be taken on the 1st of every month).
PRODUCTION
Look no further we can help you with your medical requirements. Whether you need medical cover for a one-day commercial, a long term shoot or a construction medic we have a diary service that will show you who is available. You can sign up for free access to the portfolios of our qualified medics. Sleep tight knowing all of our medics have had their qualifications checked, so that’s one less thing you have to worry about. All medics have been recommended a minimal medical kit checklist so you can relax knowing they have the right kit for any medical emergency.
If you are looking for a long term contracted medic we can send you the CV’s of our handpicked medics to find you the most suitable person for your job based on previous work experience and qualifications. No two medics are the same, some are new to the industry others are industry-savvy! Either way, we can find you someone who fits the bill perfectly. More importantly, you don’t need to worry if the medic turning up is either qualified or hasn’t got the correct medical kit as we have done that hard work for you. There are no joining fees for Production.
